Talk Radio and the Entertainment Industry

It is safe to say that everyone likes music. There are so many different genres that can appeal to the various interests people have in music. Some people may like the new releases and upbeat songs and artists that that entails. Some people may like classical, jazz, blues, and other generally calm types of genres. Others may like to listen to the music of the past or that they listened to as a child. For instance, 80’s music, 90’s music, and the various popular songs and dances they produced are still well known due to movies, commercials, and other forms of entertainment using them as background music to add fun for listeners, and because they are well known and people can relate to them.

Not only do many people have a favorite type of music, but many people also have a favorite radio station that is always playing in the car. Or even a few radio stations that they can switch back and forth between. Talk radio is a huge form of entertainment, especially for those who have to commute to work or for those who have music playing while on the job. Talk radio is usually, funny, upbeat, informative on the weather and local news, and provides the top hits that people are interested in hearing. For instance, some radios have the top 40 or top 20 songs that are hits at that time and play them for listeners to follow along with. The radio is a great form of entertainment and reaches out to people all over and of all different interests.
