British Singer Adele Cancels North America Tour

British singer Adele who crooned to the popular song Chasing Pavements has recently cancelled all of her remaining North America  tours. Adele still had five concert dates scheduled but was forced to cancel these shows after being diagnosed with Laryngitis. She was she scheduled for a performance in Minneapolis but canceled on the last minute due to her ailment.

The following weekend she took the stage in Denver Colorado, but it proved to be too early. As a result her Sunday night performance in Salt Lake City did not push through. The rest of her performances were also called off and rescheduled. In her official website she apologized to fans for the unexpected turn out of events.  Reports share that she is also frustrated about the way things have turned out but has stated “However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor’s advice and rest some more. I’m so sorry. See you soon, love Adele.” On lighter side, fans have been told to keep their original tickets which they will be able to use when the tour resumes.

Despite being a foreign artist, Adele has experienced a huge success in the United States. Over the past few weeks her songs have dominated the tops of the charts. The Grammy award winning singer’s album entitled “21” has sold more than two million copies throughout North America. This number runs close to the number of albums which she has sold in Europe giving her success across the Atlantic.
